How results are produced

Calculation Methodology

The shared standards behind ToolSyn calculators, converters, text utilities and browser-based image tools.

Browser calculations

Most ToolSyn tools use JavaScript in the visitor's browser. Values are converted into numbers, validated and passed through the formula described on the page.

Rounding

Calculations normally retain JavaScript floating-point precision internally and round only the displayed result. Financial tools may display two decimal places or whole Pakistani rupees for readability.

Date calculations

Age and date-difference tools use local calendar dates rather than treating every month as the same length. Total-day calculations use date-only UTC values to reduce daylight-saving issues.

Reference comparisons

Fuel-average model ranges are indicative real-world comparison bands, not manufacturer guarantees. PTA model values are manually maintained reference estimates and must be verified through official DIRBS.

Image and PDF processing

Selected image content is processed in the browser. Large files can fail when the device runs out of memory, so size and quantity limitations are explained on the relevant page.

Validation before release

  • JavaScript syntax check.
  • Single-H1 and metadata check.
  • JSON-LD parsing check.
  • Internal link and file-reference check.
  • Desktop and mobile layout review.

Freshness schedule

  • PTA estimates: monthly review or immediately after a major FBR valuation update.
  • Zakat Nisab: annual official-notification review.
  • Fuel benchmarks: quarterly review and model additions.
  • Stable formulas: annual audit or correction when an issue is reported.
