How this Zakat calculator works

The calculator adds the qualifying assets you enter, subtracts eligible short-term liabilities and compares the resulting net wealth with your selected Nisab threshold. When the threshold is met, it estimates Zakat at 2.5%.

Zakat = Net qualifying wealth × 2.5%

Pakistan bank Nisab for 2026

The Government of Pakistan notified PKR 503,529 as the source-deduction Nisab for specified savings and similar bank accounts for Zakat Year 1446–1447 AH. This bank threshold is included as a convenient Pakistan option, but it does not settle every personal Zakat question.

Gold and silver Nisab options

Select the gold or silver method and enter the current local price per gram. The calculator multiplies that rate by 87.48 grams of gold or 612.36 grams of silver. Gold and silver prices are not fetched automatically, so always enter a current rate.

Religious guidance notice: Zakat treatment can vary for jewellery, retirement funds, shares, debts, jointly owned assets and the start of the lunar year. Use this as a planning estimate and confirm your situation with a qualified scholar.
