This tool is useful for text copied from PDFs, messages, websites and spreadsheets. Choose only the cleanup options you need, then copy the cleaned result.
How to use it
- Paste the original text.
- Choose whether to collapse spaces, trim lines or remove blank lines.
- Select Clean text and copy the result.
Cleanup options
Collapse repeated spaces reduces horizontal whitespace to one space. Trim every line removes whitespace at line beginnings and endings. Remove blank lines deletes empty paragraph lines.
Worked example
Example: “ToolSyn is fast” becomes “ToolSyn is fast” when repeated spaces are collapsed.
Good to know
Keep “Remove blank lines” disabled when paragraph spacing is important.

Are tabs removed?
When collapse is enabled, tabs inside a line are treated as horizontal whitespace.
Can paragraphs be preserved?
Yes. Leave Remove blank lines disabled.
Is my text sent to a server?
